Drummer and 2012 alum Jack Mudd is performing on the Today Show tomorrow Jan. 31 with Kathie Lee & Hoda. Mudd has been drumming for two years for 14-year-old Tegan Marie who is the youngest female singer in 45 years to be signed to a major label.

Marie, Mudd and the rest of the band have opened for country artists like Kane Brown, Thomas Rhett and most recently Dierks Bentley.

β€œI have been blessed to use my God given gifts on such a big platform,” Mudd said. β€œThese last couple of years with Tegan have been just growth.”

Marie just released her single β€˜Keep It Lit” on Jan. 19 and has already received almost one million views on YouTube.

β€œShe is not your typical 14-year-old,” Mudd said. β€œIt’s crazy week, we are performing in the Empire State building later today and then we have the Today show tomorrow. There is a lot of hype and excitement around her right now, I think the plan for us is to play shows, meet fans and spread happiness.”
