2067

2067 is about our future Earth becoming unlivable. There is an international oxygen crisis due to there being absolutely no trees. Motherless and fatherless Ethan Whyte is their only hope at survival. Before his dad died he was working on a time machine that gave them the ability to travel 407 years into the future. Ethan risks his life through this time machine to save his dying planet by gaining scientific and technological advancements from the future for the oxygen crisis.

To be completely honest I don’t think a lot of the actors did very well in the movie. I got a feeling most of them felt like they did not want to be a part of this movie at all. A lot of them spoke with a monotone voice with little to no emotion. The character Regina Jackson is a good example. I feel like she just has low energy delivery of cliche lines.

One thing I feel like this movie did well was the look. The special effects and CGI are amazingly done. I didn’t feel like there were any shortcomings when it came to these types of aspects of the movie. One thing I did not like about the movie was the cheesy plot. It was another “This is your only chance to save the world” type movie. I felt like this was a good movie but nothing different than a generic Sci-Fi.

I think the dystopian world or futuristic movie lovers would like this. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for just another solid Sci-Fi movie to watch. I would not recommend it to anyone who is looking for an Oscar winning movie with an extremely developed plot. The MPAA has not rated this movie. Compared to the other movies on this list, it’s an average movie overall.
