Trial of the Chicago 7 is a movie based on a true story that takes place in the late ’60s during a trial of seven people who were accused of conspiracy inciting a riot. The 7 people who were accused of inciting riots were because of the Vietnam war starting and partially because of Martin Luther King Jr.’s assassination. I think Jeremy strong did a fantastic job playing Jerry Rubin did a very good job portraying the hippie aspect of his character. I think he fits in well with the character. He is a guy who tries to fight for peace and anti-war although some of the protests become escalated. The Judge also plays his role perfectly.
