After another MCC championship and a solid year in net, junior Dylan Radke is ready to take the field again. Radke has been on varsity since freshman year and now has become one of the leaders on the lacrosse team. Coming off last year when they had sixteen seniors graduate, Dylan thinks it’s going to be hard to find someone to step up, he thinks it’s going to take all the senior and junior class to come together and lead the younger classmen. One of the leaders was his brother, Derek, who led De Smet with 37 goals and 44 assists and was ranked fifth in the MCC.
“It’s going to be difficult finding a leader,” Radke said. “But because we have a lot of juniors and seniors returning, it’s going to be fun to see who will step up.”
He is very confident in himself and his defense.
“In my opinion, we have the best defense in the league, we have 5 very solid poles that will really help us out. I am looking forward to this season and for the team and I, and as for me, I think I will have a good year.
