Trump’s Twitter tweets may be declining his popularity

President Donald J. Trump has been receiving a lot of flak lately for some of his controversial tweets. Trump is the first president in history to personally run his accounts day by day activity. Of course the social media outlet “Twitter” has only been around for former President Barack Obama and Trump.

President Trump has received much more backlash than support for his tweets. According to Gallup, Trump’s approval rating has fallen to 38% with most his support coming from Republicans. His average rating is 39%, is one of the lowest averages in history since the approval ratings have started being tracked. Since Trump has entered the office, America has seen a rise in the stock market and a rise in the creation of jobs. With all the success’ Trump has made economically people wonder how his approval rating is so low.

Trump has used Twitter positively by tweeting out about improvements in the US government and economy, like talking about things such as gains in the stock market and more creation of jobs. He also has been very good with offering his support to those in need during tragedies. But his constant twitter rants criticizing “fake news”, the NFL, and taunting North Korea has hurt his approval as the US President.

To be fair to Trump he has received much criticism from news networks like CNN, who have been proven unreliable from time to time. But his constant attacks on Twitter about various news sources like Washington Post, New York Times, and NBC are getting quite old. His tweets taunting North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un referring to him as “Rocket Man” has angered many Americans fearing nuclear war with North Korea.

Trump needs to focus less on his twitter and more on helping our country. If he keeps quiet on twitter gets back to work he can continue to hopefully “Make America Great Again”. Only time will tell, hopefully, he can get back on track and raise his approval rating.
