Steve Stipanovich
The towering 7 foot tall “Stipo” led the Spartans to two straight state titles while at the school and went on to play basketball at Mizzou. There he led his team to four consecutive winning seasons and NCAA tournament appearances. He was taken number two overall in the 1983 NBA draft by the Indiana Pacers. In his first year, he made All Rookie First Team. Over his career, he averaged 13.2 ppg with 7.8 rpg, he also got to play with Pacers Legend, Reggie Miller.
