Autrey was not only apart of the first graduating class of De Smet but he was also the first student to be called up to the podium making him our schools first ever graduate. Henry furthered his education by obtaining his degree in law at St. Louis University and eventually became a judge. On March 21, 2002, Autrey was appointed by George W. Bush to a seat on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. He still serves on his seat to this day.
