Senior Jack Klingel signed to play golf at the University of Northern Iowa yesterday.  He held an average of 77 last golf season and won conference individually his Sophomore year.

“When they told me that they wanted me to play for them I was really excited,” Klingel said. “I have had my heart set on them for a while.”

Colleges such as Southwest University, Rhodes College, and Regis University reached out to Klingel as well.  He chose UNI not only because of the opportunity to golf there, but also because of what the school offered academically.

“I was really interested in major in business and economic finance. In terms of business, UNI is one the best schools in the country,” Klingel said.  It was a great opportunity for me to be able to go to school there and play golf too.”
